In this lecture, we were tasked with creating characters who reside in the world we created during the map-making lesson. We were also tasked with creating a scenario in which these characters would be playable and would have different choices. Since I decided to create a fantasy world I went off of that and made the scenario deeply rooted in the history of the land I created. The land I created was heavily influenced by a hero that had saved the world in the past at the cost of his life and because of this, relics of him and things left behind by him and his actions are found across the area. The villain of the story I created was also linked to the hero's death and his past with the realm. The game would take place many years in the future and the playable characters would be four children whose lives were destroyed by a disaster that had occurred in their village causing them to be scattered across the realm.
An example of the choices you can take would be that Daemon can choose to stay with the Demon Sect after discovering the truth, which results in him being able to become stronger in the Demonic arts, but he will join the enemy side in the story and inevitably have to face off against the others.
OR
Daemon can leave the Demon Sect after discovering the truth, which results in him being hunted by the sect and being unable to finish training in the Demonic Arts, but he can learn magic to strengthen what he has learned and will be able to join the others.
The characters that will be playable in the game will be the doctor and a risker (if the game is played by 2 players) he hired in order to infiltrate the facility. The game will have multiple choices are areas where you can go just like in escape the dark castle. At the end of each game, you will have a boss that you must fight in order to escape and you must build up your character during the game in order to beat that boss or just barely escape. If you choose to play by yourself then you will have to roll for both characters and chose who plays each scenario before revealing the card.
